The downfall of many men and nations
has been the consequences of selfishness. In doing away with self-sins we
should keenly battle out selfishness. King David, one of the greatest men to
have ever lived followed his pleasure blindly which led him into a very
catastrophic state.

WHAT RENDERS OUR FAITH DEAD
FAITH REVOLUTION SERIES
PART 4 – WHAT RENDERS OUR FAITH DEAD
1. Self-sufficiency
Our works of
faith would be rendered inactive and unfulfilling if we are sufficient in
ourselves. We must reckon that the Lord is the one working in our lives and He
is constantly involved in fashioning our every blessing. When we begin to see
our lives as complete, when we begin to see no need for prayer, fasting and
crying unto God, we become sufficient in ourselves which takes God out of the
equation. Our self-sufficiency robs God of His glory.

WORKS OF THE FLESH
THE FALL OF CAIN
Part 2: TILLER OF THE GROUND
Lesson 2 - WORKS OF THE FLESH
In the Lesson One (1) we looked at the ground as the mind but
in this episode we are considering the same as the flesh.
Scripture
Reading:
“Then she
bore again, this time his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.” (Gen.
4:2)

THE COMPROMISING CHARACTER
Naaman was a gentile, a Syrian army commander who sought
healing for his skin disease-leprosy. With the help and knowledge of a little
girl he adhered to, he went to Israel to see the prophet Elisha, and thanks be
to Our Lord, he received healing instantly after executing the instructions and
directions of the man of God. After this did Naaman make this statement which
drew my attention to this character many Christians have come to adopt.
