7 TRUTHS OF JUSTIFICATION (PLUS 1 BONUS)

JUSTIFICATION
Hebrew: Tsaw-Dak meaning "to make right, or righteous, in a moral sense" (Gen. 44:16; Ps. 51:4, Isa. 43:9, 26)
Greek: Diakaiow meaning " to make righteous" or "to show one to be righteous, to acquit of a charge, to pronounce guiltless" (Lk. 10:29; Matt. 12:37; 1 Cor. 6:11; James 2:21, 24-25)

Thus justification according to both Hebrew and Greek thought; is to make righteous, to acquit of a charge and to absolve from guilt. Justification is the act of God whereby He declares righteous anyone who believes in Jesus Christ.
  1. Justification is by grace; grace is the source (Rom. 3:24; Ti. 3:7)
  2. Justification is by faith; faith is the channel of reception (Rom. 26-30; 4:11; Col. 1:23)
  3. Justification is through the blood of Jesus; the blood is the only foundation (Rom. 3:25; 5:9)
  4. Justification is by the Spirit of God; He is the communicator to the heart and life (1 Cor. 6:11)
  5. Justification is by the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Gal. 2:16; 1 Cor. 6:11)
  6. Justification takes place at the Mercy Seat or Throne of God (Lk. 18:9-14)
  7. Justification is by God Himself, He is the author (Rom. 3:20; 8:30,33)
BONUS: Justification is the imputed and outworked righteousness of Christ in His people (Rom. 8:29-33). That is, righteousness is positional and practical, imputed, in-wrought and outworked. (Rev. 19:7-8)
