I felt my
beloved calling for me, behold He calleth for me, He knocked at the door, I
heard His voice, the sweet voice of salvation, the sound of deliverance, the
warm voice of holiness.

VARIOUS MOTHERS' DAY POEMS FOR CITATIONS
Mother Teresa |
Mothers' Day really makes sense for which reason I have gathered original poems on this blog for citations to appreciate mothers and all who are playing the roles of a mother. I know of some men who play the role of both mom and dad altogether - they deserve our love and appreciation. We ought to be thankful to all

LIFE’S OCEAN OF PUZZLES
Sitting
under a tree wrapped about by the cold embrace of the weather
Clearing my
mind, trying to figure out how I feel
But here I
am left in the middle of the ocean of nothingness
WHO WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT?
Who would
have ever thought that I would see this glorious day?
The day the
LORD will take me from zero to hero
Take me from
the gutters and make me a royal
Who would
have ever thought?

PRAYERS “UNANSWERED”
Let me take
you down memory lane
To that
moment when you felt deserted
Betrayed and
left to dry out in the sun
Then
helplessness and broken-heartedness set in
Even
frustration at times

SURRENDER DAILY
We do not incline our ears to His Word because we know Him.
We do not accept the truth because we can hear Him too.
We see visions and dream dreams so we are closer to Him.
We have stayed in His house for some years so He is our friend.

THE GENERATION OF SELF
And a
generation has arisen, a very unbelieving one
A new breed
of mediocre minds
For in their
quest to think big, they neglect the very Being Who created them and everything
that encompasses them;

GOD
He suffers in their arms
His name has known no peace
Not because He is not He, but they
comprehended Him not
They struggle with their methods
They fight with their tools

DESPISE THE SHAME
The prophet declared
“For to us a child is born
To us a son is given”
That through Him man may be restored.
“For to us a child is born
To us a son is given”
That through Him man may be restored.
An angel spoke saying
“You will be with child and give
Birth to a son and you are
To call Him Jesus”.
“You will be with child and give
Birth to a son and you are
To call Him Jesus”.

THE AGE OF EVIL
What a solemn evening it was
An evening filled with so much worship
I preached the Word of God with power
I sat in my usual front seat afterwards
I sudden began to freeze in my chair
My body refused to move for a while
Though conscious was I of my surroundings
Suddenly I appeared in an outlandishly vast land
Just land without anything
In a twinkle of an eye thousands of people I saw
It seemed to me like the whole creation
Pretty usually appeared men, thick and tall
They were giants, very great and mighty
Having rods in their hands whipped anyone they met
This was a great tribulation for all

BEFORE THE LORD
Before the
Lord are you and I
Before the
Lord is a Spirit-filled earth vessel
And a mere
earthen vessel
He shall
save me and forsake you
He is my strength,
I shall not be moved
He loves
me, I’m Spirit-filled
When will
you forsake your foolish thoughts? Oh you!
Your life
is like a dead grass before the Lord
Before the
Lord are you and I

THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY
I had no need for worry
For the night was soft and
sound
All creatures said goodnight
And fell into a sleep of
peace
I did same with all
I too slept in the solemnity
of peace
With the expectation of a
great morning to do my trade
Indeed my sleep was blissful
But suddenly as though I was
asleep
I yet was in myself all
again
I could feel and know
whatever that surrounded me
Yes! Everything in my room
came alive
As though I never slept
Strangely my sleep was gone
But I could not awake
I was still, with my eyes
closed

WHOM GOD CHOOSES
Rev. Henry Francis Lyte

(1 June 1793 – 20 November 1847)
When God wants to drill a man,
And thrill a man,
And skill a man
When God wants to mold a man
To play the noblest part;
And thrill a man,
And skill a man
When God wants to mold a man
To play the noblest part;
