31 RAVI ZACHARIAS QUOTES

These quotes of Christian apologist Dr. Ravi Zacharias is meant to provoke your understanding, to think like him and see thinks the way he see them. Applying your heart to these truths by Ravi is very worthwhile.
  1. When you come to religion, you come to a place. When you come to Jesus Christ, you come to a person.

DEALING WITH UNFORGIVENESS

Most often than not we find it very difficult to forgive others when they wrong us. Yes! It is very difficult to forgive someone who hurt you badly or probably someone broke your heart after trusting them. But the actual truth is that the pain of the hurt and betrayed can only be relieved by forgiveness.
Apostle Peter once asked Jesus how many times he should forgive those who offend him. Jesus’ answer will stun you;

25 QUOTES BY KENNETH E. HAGIN FOR VICTORIOUS A LIFE

Reading from Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory is invigorating and faith fortifying. I have decided to bless your life today with a few of his words which will give you the power to walk in victory.
  1. People that think wrong believe wrong, and when they believe wrong, they act wrong.
  2. Our confession will either imprison us or set us free. Our confession is the result of our

GIVING

“Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum. And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die. And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.

TAKE HEED LEST YOU FALL

“Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” 1 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV)
In this 21st century, I would say it’s pretty easy to get lost in society. One could easily get trapped in things that satisfy our lusts. Prostitution is at its peak, divorce is increasing by the hour and pornographic material is easily accessible these days.

STRENGTH

“Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”
2 Timothy 2:1 (KJV)
The apostle Paul admonished Timothy in the text above to be strong in the Lord’s grace and this goes to all true Christians. Pursuing Christ and the kingdom of God is not a bed of roses but a journey that involves fighting and escaping temptation and obeying the Word of Christ.

50 QUOTES AND LESSONS ON FAITH BY REV. SAMUEL E. ENTSUA-MENSAH

Today I have decided to share fifty (50) sound lessons on faith from a teaching series I did at church dubbed FAITH REVOLUTION. Each and every one of these will be a great addition to your faith. You will grow from faith to faith. You will touch the very palms of God after careful meditation on these powerful statements.
  1.  Great faith has it sole belief that the word of Christ is the only truth.
  2. The move of faith is purely supernatural, hence mixing it with the natural makes your trust error-ridden.

HOW TO KNOW YOUR FAITH IS ACTIVE

FAITH REVOLUTION SERIES
PART 2 – HOW TO KNOW YOUR FAITH IS ACTIVE

A faith that is active is one that is fully pleasing to God. These show that your faith is active:

1.      You don’t worry about material things.
“Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or, wherewithal shall we be clothed?”Matthew 6:31. Jesus taught the people that a worry for material things portrays you as a Gentile. For they seek such things. Jesus taught them that God knows what you need and would provide it for them as they seek Him and His kingdom.

FAITH: CONCEPT OR SUBSTANCE

FAITH REVOLUTION SERIES
PART 1 – FAITH: CONCEPT OR SUBSTANCE

“And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not faint; Saying, there was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, “though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said,

QUOTATIONS ON SALVATION BY A. W. TOZER

  1. Essentially salvation is the restoration of a right relation between man and his Creator, a bringing back to normal of the Creator-creature relation.
  2. In reality, salvation was bought not by Jesus’ fist, but by His nail-pierced hands; not by muscle but by love; not by vengeance but by forgiveness; not by force but by surrender.

REST – Part 2

Read Part 1 HERE

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls”.
Matthew 11:28-29 (NKJV)

From the first part of the REST series, we get to understand that rest is a triumph God promised man after THE FALL.

WHAT IT MEANS TO PRAY IN JESUS'S NAME

Prayer is one of the Christian acts that Jesus taught His disciples. Many preachers and teachers have spoken vastly about the topic of prayer because of its importance in the life of a Christian. Prayerlessness is what makes a Christian totally dry and void of the presence of God.

REST - Part 1

“Gad, a troop shall tramp upon him, but he shall triumph at last.” (Genesis 49:19)

When the first man (Adam) disobeyed God, humanity became slaves to sin (the works of the devil). Sin became a troop which overcame man. Sin has bound us through the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life but thank God for sending His Son to come and die to release us from the bondage of sin.

JESUS CHRIST - THE LAUNDERER’S SOAP

“But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like a LAUNDERER’S SOAP.” (Mal. 3:2)

BEARING FRUIT

The growth of a Christian has been compared to that of a tree in several places in the Bible. In Psalms 1:1-3, David says, “…He shall be LIKE A TREE planted by rivers of water that bring forth its fruit in its season….” David compared a man who delighted in God to a tree whose end is to bear fruit and prosper in all his ways. This reveals if the tree does not bear fruit it shall not prosper. Likewise, if a Christian does not bear fruit, he shall not prosper in his endeavors and may even earn condemnation. Let’s take a look at Matthew 21:18-19.

BROOD OF VIPERS

“Then Jerusalem, all Judea and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to

JESUS CALLS HEROD A FOX

“On that very day some Pharisees came, saying to Him, “Get out and depart from here, for Herod wants to kill You.” And He said to them, “Go tell that FOX, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected’.” (Luke 13: 31 & 32)

THE MIRROR OF LIFE

A mirror is a shiny metal or glass that reflects an image when light is directed onto it without diffusing it. Hence the mirror presents a carbon copy of the object placed before it. There is a mirror of life that reveals who we are and betrays us when we portray ourselves differently. This mirror of life is the heart of man.

REINSTATEMENT – THE GLORIOUS COME BACK

Many years ago, in my primary school days I had an unusual enthusiasm for all manner of sport. I wanted to do a bit of everything and be the best at them all. One day our class played a soccer match against another class of which I contributed an own goal. We had a draw with my only goal against my own team and each side looked forward to scoring the winning goal. Suddenly an anger aroused in me which caused me to score the winning goal from a long distance five minutes before the match closed.
