“Now when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he did not go as at other times, to seek to use sorcery, but he set his face toward the wilderness”. (Numbers 24:1)

Balaam is described in the Bible as a prophet of God but he was not one who was approved by God to operate in the ministry of the prophet.

FIRST THINGS FIRST



In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus Christ teaches the people about priorities. He makes them know that the most important thing in life is to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. A priority refers to a principal thing – the most important thing. Seeking God should be number one on our To-do list always, because it opens the way for us to receive all things we desire in our lives.

ROADBLOCK TO PERFECTION


As Christians, our ultimate goal is to reach a state of perfection before God. Jesus said in Matthew 5:48 that we should be perfect as our heavenly Father, who is in Heaven is perfect. The Christian life is not just about reading the Bible, praying, fasting, evangelizing and church growth. It also involves moral values, attitudes and other ethics all pushing us towards the ultimate goal, PERFECTION.

12 PROBLEMS WITH THE CHURCH IN AFRICA



Christ is the head of the Church and He thus has the authority to judge His own Church. How dare I say that the Church has a problem? I mean not to rule the Church with Christ, but just as the church in Pergamos held unto the doctrine of Balaam and the doctrine of the Nicholitans (Rev. 2:12-17), the church in Africa has held unto strange doctrines.
