Charles Haddon Spurgeon, the Prince
of preachers has made enormous impact in Christendom. His life and teaching has
inspired many. I have read several of his books and I still do. The more I read
the more I get blessed by his inspired words. Today I am sharing a few of his
statements from various which will be a great blessing to you.

A TIME FOR LOVE
I felt my
beloved calling for me, behold He calleth for me, He knocked at the door, I
heard His voice, the sweet voice of salvation, the sound of deliverance, the
warm voice of holiness.

VARIOUS MOTHERS' DAY POEMS FOR CITATIONS
Mother Teresa |
Mothers' Day really makes sense for which reason I have gathered original poems on this blog for citations to appreciate mothers and all who are playing the roles of a mother. I know of some men who play the role of both mom and dad altogether - they deserve our love and appreciation. We ought to be thankful to all

REINSTATEMENT – THE GLORIOUS COME BACK
Many years ago, in my primary
school days I had an unusual enthusiasm for all manner of sport. I wanted to do
a bit of everything and be the best at them all. One day our class played a
soccer match against another class of which I contributed an own goal. We had a
draw with my only goal against my own team and each side looked forward to scoring
the winning goal. Suddenly an anger
aroused in me which caused me to score the winning goal from a long distance
five minutes before the match closed.

BE PERFECT
One of the
admonishments of Jesus which has become very debatable in the Kingdom is “be perfect”. Many people including
believers have considered the whole issue of perfection to be something
impossible. I do believe the same too. As far as we are in this world struggle
for perfection is only but a tribulation. Perfection is a state of excellence
without faults, errors or flaws. This state cannot be achieved easily in the
earth realm because nuggets of evil thoughts, lusts, etc. bombard us round
about daily.

LIVING AS GOD PLANNED - LOVE (Part 1)
Love is one asset that cannot be underestimated. Love, as defined by me, is
that driving force that binds a group of people together and shows that they
are of a common opinion. How? I will show you from the Word of God.
Now there are some characteristics and features of love we
must consider. For this reason we would have to critically take a look at 1
Corinthians 13. This is the passage from which we find love as being patient,
kind, not jealous and etc. But what we fail to look at are the conditions for
which love holds.

THE BUOYANT HEART OF BARSABAS
I have
observed under the sun that one of the things which remain unchangeable in life
is change. It is a valued fact that change will not change yet every other
thing is subject to change. After Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus Christ, the
apostles had to replace him. This act of replacing this cantankerous fellow was
a fulfillment of prophecy which was however reiterated by Luke in The Acts of
the Apostles saying “For it is written in
the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell
therein: and his bishoprick let another take.” (1:20) This is another
brilliant opportunity for change to perform justly.

THE EXTRAORDINARY SHEPHERD
One of the
most famous – if not the famous verse of scripture in Christendom is Psalm 23
which opens with the statement, “The Lord is my Shepherd…” This text has gained
so much popularity because of the intensity of the declarations which were
carefully constructed by the psalmist in his prayer. But in this article I am
much interested in the opening statement. I would however relate this scripture
to the fourteen year service of the patriarch Jacob for his desired bride –
Rachel.
