Once upon a time in the hall of
fame of unknown heroes is a story of heroism not going as expected. A young
prince lost both his father and grandfather in the same battle. The father fought
bravely besides his father but both died on the same battlefield. The young
prince was five years old at the time with his mother probably dead. This is
one of the most tragic situations of royalty that a prince becomes a complete
orphan overnight.

QUOTATIONS ON SALVATION BY A. W. TOZER
- Essentially salvation is the restoration of a right relation between man and his Creator, a bringing back to normal of the Creator-creature relation.
- In reality, salvation was bought not by Jesus’ fist, but by His nail-pierced hands; not by muscle but by love; not by vengeance but by forgiveness; not by force but by surrender.

REST – Part 2
“Come to Me, all you
who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you
and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest
for your souls”.
Matthew 11:28-29 (NKJV)
From the first part of the REST series, we get to understand
that rest is a triumph God promised man after THE FALL.

REST - Part 1
“Gad, a troop shall tramp upon him, but he shall triumph at
last.” (Genesis 49:19)
When the first man (Adam) disobeyed God, humanity became
slaves to sin (the works of the devil). Sin became a troop which overcame man.
Sin has bound us through the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the
pride of life but thank God for sending His Son to come and die to release us
from the bondage of sin.

A TIME FOR LOVE
I felt my
beloved calling for me, behold He calleth for me, He knocked at the door, I
heard His voice, the sweet voice of salvation, the sound of deliverance, the
warm voice of holiness.

WHO WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT?
Who would
have ever thought that I would see this glorious day?
The day the

Take me from

SURRENDER DAILY
We do not incline our ears to His Word because we know Him.
We do not accept the truth because we can hear Him too.
We see visions and dream dreams so we are closer to Him.
We have stayed in His house for some years so He is our friend.

THE EXTRAORDINARY SHEPHERD
One of the
most famous – if not the famous verse of scripture in Christendom is Psalm 23
which opens with the statement, “The Lord is my Shepherd…” This text has gained
so much popularity because of the intensity of the declarations which were
carefully constructed by the psalmist in his prayer. But in this article I am
much interested in the opening statement. I would however relate this scripture
to the fourteen year service of the patriarch Jacob for his desired bride –
Rachel.

15 [WATCHMAN NEE] LESSONS ON SALVATION
- Salvation as a personal and subjective experience rests on the Lord’s resurrection rather than His death. Though the death of Christ was necessary for atonement objectively before God, the New Testament lays emphasis on our faith in resurrection. It is through His resurrection that we have the proof of His death being accepted.
- Salvation is a matter of position. As long as a person is in Adam (walking according to the course of the world), he stands opposite to God, making him an enemy to God.

THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL
The apostle Paul in his epistle to
the Romans expressed his zeal to preach the gospel of Christ without shame.
Though he had not been to the church in Rome, Paul wrote this letter to teach
them that the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel of Christ. The
Gospel of Christ, however, is the sum total of the teachings and life of Jesus
Christ. It was in those days a great challenge for a Jew to proclaim the gospel
because the Jews had rejected Him (Christ) and even called Him a devil. Not
only that but He was delivered into the hands of gentiles (that is, the Romans)
to be killed.

14 INCREDIBLE QUOTES ON SOUL WINNING
To bring the Holy Word of God to
humanity, God move holy men by His Holy Spirit to write His oracles, which we
call the Bible. God authored the Bible by inspiring men to write. The same way
God has chosen men and women to do His work, and has filled them with His
wisdom. These men and women of God however had the same commission, to win
souls. “Let’s plunder hell and populate heaven” says Rodney Howard-Brown. Here
are fourteen incredible quotes on soul winning;
- God forms man, sin deforms him, the school informs him but only Christ transforms him, therefore preach Christ to ALL Men – C. H. Spurgeon

BEFORE THE LORD
Before the
Lord are you and I
Before the
Lord is a Spirit-filled earth vessel
And a mere
earthen vessel
He shall
save me and forsake you
He is my strength,
I shall not be moved
He loves
me, I’m Spirit-filled
When will
you forsake your foolish thoughts? Oh you!
Your life
is like a dead grass before the Lord
Before the
Lord are you and I

THE MAN WHO CARRIED JESUS’ CROSS
Oh, what a day that would never be
forgotten in the history of both mortals and immortals; the day when an
immortal-mortal was annihilated by treacherous mortals. This event has however
made a peculiarly indelible impression upon history – the day Jesus Christ
died. He was beaten mercilessly, mocked bitterly, insulted obscenely and spat
upon awfully. All eyes were on Him with every mouth speaking about Him. The
headline of the day, “Crucify Him”. He was the most wearied of men, yet He was
made to carry an unbearable piece of timber unto the hill of his execution.

12 REASONS WHY EVANGELISM IS IMPORTANT
I have always thought of a better way to define Evangelism, until Jesus opened my understanding into the Four Gospels. From thence I have defined Evangelism as the ability of a Christian to obey the Great Commission, which is going everywhere to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
13 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD BE A SOUL WINNER
Many Christians can give a thousand reasons why they are following Jesus Christ and not another, but cannot give reasons why they should be winning (souls) for Him. Jesus Christ expects all who decide to follow Him (Christian) to win (souls) for Him also. “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations...” (Matt. 28:18, 19) Any Christian who is not a Soul-Winner is not a Christian enough. A Soul-Winner is a vessel through which Christ draws all men unto Himself. You need to be that vessel. Here are thirteen reasons why you should avail yourself for Christ to draw all men to Himself:

12 THINGS I WILL NOT DO IF I WERE YOU
I do
not wish to set any parameters for anyone for I am equally not perfect but only
desire to help you draw nearer and nearer to our Blessed Christ. What I
am about to share with you are things which are in conformity to the Word of
God and very expedient for quality Christian living. These are nevertheless
things I have learned by experience as a Christian, a pastor and a counselor.
I trust God that these lessons would transform your life.
If I
were you,

HOW TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD
The gospel
according to John has the central theme of bringing believers into a fuller
understanding of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, wherefore it places
emphasis on the subject of having a new life as a prerequisite for entering
into the kingdom of God in chapter three. This life as presented in this
chapter is introduced with Nicodemus, a Jewish teacher of the Law who sought
entry into the kingdom of God but contrary to his expectation was the revelation
of becoming born-again. Jesus’ answer of becoming born-again was a revelation
i.e. a secret knowledge or a mystery, basically a divine truth. It was a
knowledge which was hidden from Judaism and still is because they do not
believe in Jesus as the Christ, the Messiah.
