REST - Part 1



“Gad, a troop shall tramp upon him, but he shall triumph at last.” (Genesis 49:19)

When the first man (Adam) disobeyed God, humanity became slaves to sin (the works of the devil). Sin became a troop which overcame man. Sin has bound us through the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life but thank God for sending His Son to come and die to release us from the bondage of sin.

TRIUMPH AFTER ENDURANCE


In the 1900’s the British queen Victoria resided in Ghana. She conducted the slave trade and ruled in the name of the United Kingdom. One day she ordered the capture of King Prempeh who was the last of the Ashanti Kings and this stirred up Queen mother Yaa Asantewaa to mobilize her people to go and fight the British soldiers. Yaa Asantewaa and her people knew that the soldiers had guns and explosives but in the face of all that THEY STOOD FIRM AND FOUGHT because they knew that they were entitled to their freedom.

THE FINAL MANTLE



Sometimes I wonder if the possibility of evil will be not probable at all. But it appears that there is an established fact that this very age would not cease to witness the possibility of the occurrence of any form of evil probable. There is a probability of evil happening but is there a way where the possibility of this probability would be zero? Certainly, as far as this present age is concerned all probable evils are palpable.
