BEASTLY MEN

“…They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak against dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. But these, like NATURAL BRUTE BEASTS made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption.”
(2 Peter 2:10-12)

IN THE MIDST OF SORROW?

Sorrow has beset us round about, that we often want to ask, “So God, are you really watching?” Our inherited nature (of sin) has somewhat tuned our lives into the frequency of sorrow. “Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble.” (Job 14:1) The days of mankind on earth is few yet filled with various problems until death says sound sleep.

POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS

One day I wanted to praise and worship God before I sleep. Knowing what kind of dreams God gives me when sleep I usually worship before I sleep. I wanted that night to be no exception. God normally shows me such wonderful things as casting out devils, visions of angels and events of the future.

THE MENACE OF RELIGIOUS INSANITY

Christianity has encountered so much oppression right from the Jesus’ baptism to His ascension and will continue to agonize much more until His second coming. In the past centuries, even in the recent past decades, the persecution has always come from those outside the courts of the All Mighty but it’s becoming obvious that much of the oppression is coming from within.

WORSHIP – MADE FOR MAN

The modern day Christians have a funny definition of worship, limiting it to the period where they sing songs of praise unto the Most High God, the King of kings and Lord of lords. But I know that worship entails much more than that, for I do not believe, rather, I know that my Lord, the God I serve is not a simpleton to have given a code for worship (Jn. 4:23-24) – Worship in Spirit and in Truth.

WHEN WE WORSHIP THE RESURRECTED CHRIST

Worship is so important that a slight negligence of it would render us merely beasts scavenging the earth realm purposelessly. The Disciples were aligned to the purpose of God when they worshiped the Resurrected Christ. “But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee…And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him…And Jesus came up and spoke to them…” (Matt 28:16-18)

When the disciples worshiped Christ He came to them and spoke deep things unto them, things which were not committed unto them when they walked with their Master for three and half years. He spoke unto them their purpose and whatever that pertains unto it.

A man without purpose is no more than a beast. Also a man with a self-inspired purpose which does not concur with the purpose of God struggles to void. It is imperative for the creature to walk in the purpose for which the Creator made it. Just as a robot made to fulfill task “A” ends up functioning to fulfill task “X” is a failure, man which fulfills anything different from God’s intent for him is a complete garbage.

MAN - MADE TO WORSHIP

"The impulse to worship is universal. If there is a race or a tribe anywhere in the world that does not worship it has not been discovered. And yet the act of worship is, for the most part, so imperfect, so impure and so far astray that any teaching that might help God more acceptably would indeed be a word well spoken." - A. W. Tozer
Man living on planet earth is made with the singular purpose of worshiping God. God, the one true God, Creator and Maker of all things performed all His works with the objective that all His works would worship Him.

7 ELEMENTS OF WORSHIP (PLUS 1 BONUS)

"So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him." (Psa. 45:11, KJV)
If indeed God is your LORD, the Psalmist under inspiration says, WORSHIP THOU HIM. Man has been made to worship and for that matter it is obligatory to worship God alone.

Here we go;

1. Admiration: We can admire without worshiping but we cannot worship without admiring.
2. Fascination: We worship that which fascinates us. That is, worship something or someone which inspires eternal amazement and awe.
3. Love: It is hypocrisy to worship who you do not love. Genuine worship evolves from love.
4. Honour: Honour should be given to one who deserves it.
5. Reverential fear: Without respectfully fearing your object of worship familiarity shall surely hinder your worship.
6. Magnificence: You worship that which is greater and more glorious than you. It is erroneous to worship that which you exceed in brilliance and intelligence.
7. Revelation: It is very wise to have in-depth knowledge of that which you have chosen to worship .
BONUS: Worship is very crucial, therefore, gain Christ, for without Him being the Who you worship you are destined for eternal disappointment. Christ alone deserves worship

7 THINGS WORSHIP IS NOT (PLUS 1 BONUS)

Worship is not,
  1.  Singing or listening to gospel music
  2. Crying (although it reveals your emotions)
  3. Kneeling (although it shows your honour)
  4. Closing your eyes (although it helps to avoid distraction)
  5. Offering sacrifice(s) i.e. giving offerings or tithes (although it is required)
  6. Lifting up your hands (although it expresses your submission)
  7. Bowing or prostrating (although it speaks of your lowliness)
BONUS: Worship is a matter of the heart; allowing the depths of your heart to fellowship with God. By this you will do these unknowably.
