And a
generation has arisen, a very unbelieving one
A new breed
of mediocre minds
For in their
quest to think big, they neglect the very Being Who created them and everything
that encompasses them;
The beauty
of tree and flowers, the aesthetic nature of plants
The wildness
and mildness of the tides, the fascinating nature of the seas
The
queerness of animals, even the mystical nature of the anatomy of man
Speak of a
glorious Designer and Creator
That all
these did not just come into existence
That there
is a Mastermind behind all these
Yet this
generation has chosen to turn a blind eye
Indeed, a
generation of mediocre minds!
For eons,
man has lived selfishly
But a new
breed has arisen, one at its most selfish best
The
selfishness of this breed has reached its peak and cannot arise any further
A pinnacle
so fearful that God is taken out of the picture
They take
credit and all the praise for what God has done
Even as they
try to immortalize themselves, they relegate God to the background
Always
seeking to bring up something “new”
Just so
their names will go down to generations
Even
generations yet unborn
“By my own
strength and sweat did I this”, they always say
They always
fail to give God the praise for His hand in it
A selfish
breed indeed!
For ages man
has worked hard and thorough
But a new
race has surfaced, one that works hard in vain
A race of
hardworking fools
They turn
the world topsy-turvy just to “find” answers that are right before their eyes
On their
march for modernization, they wear their bodies out to seek answers
Answers they
already have, yet when they do “find” eventually
They twist
the truth just so they do not go mad
For the
answer always boils down to God
And their
little minds, though knows this
Seeks
another that is “more comforting”
Like “God is
energy” and so forth
A funny and
pathetic bunch they are
I shake my
head almost always when I hear of them
Almost all
of them take most of their lives to come to these funny conclusions
Wearing out
both soul and body
Indeed!
A race of hardworking fools they are
