BIOGRAPHY OF RICK JOYNER


When we go through History, what attracts us mostly, is the rise and fall of Empires, the making and re-making of Revolution. But all that happened aeons before this generation emerged, and if there is one thing I know of this generation, it is identifying with the current trends. Rick Joyner is a man that has earned the right to be mentioned as he has been a tool used in the recent revolution happening in North Carolina.

Rick Joyner was born in Raleigh, North Carolina (USA) in the year 1949 but grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He is married to Julie Joyner and together they have five children namely; Anna, Aaryn, Amber, Ben and Sam. Together with his wife, they founded MorningStar Ministries in 1983 in Jackson, Mississippi, which he currently heads. In 1997, he moved the headquarters of MorningStar Ministries was moved from Charlotte, North Carolina to Wilkes County after he bought a 320 acre land there. Somewhere in the mid-1990s, he was involved in some activities of Aglow International. He is the author of over 50 books, including The Call, Final Quest, A Prophetic History, and Prophetic Ministry. Since 1999, Rick’s name has been involved in a lot of controversies, but which Ministry or Minister has not been.

One thing you might not have known about Rick Joyner is that, he served in the Navy until 1970, he worked in a Jazz club before he met God. Then started a Charter Air Company in Mississippi.
